Mark Hart
Mark Hart is the Executive & Artistic Director of the Coral Gables Congregational Church United Church of Christ Community Arts Program, where he oversees the funding, programming, marketing, production and administration of its Summer Concert Series and Conservatory for the Arts. Mark is a recipient of the Artist Impact Award presented by the Children’s Cultural Coalition, and is a National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Competition first-prize winner.
He comes from the world of broadcasting, where he was a producer for South Florida’s Classical Music Station, WTMI FM. While there, Mark also served as its Public Affairs Director and produced and hosted the daily, afternoon drive-time program, The Open Road (voted by Miami as 2000’s Best Classical Radio Program), Cantilena (interviews, biographies, and recordings of those who most influenced the world of classical vocal music), and Community Aware (a social-issues talk show). Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and a M.B.A. with a concentration in marketing. He serves as a cultural grants review panelist for the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs. Mark enjoys a side career in voice overs, but most enjoys just being around good music, friends, food and film.
