Coming to CGCC in 2008, Ron is the Director of Music Ministries, overseeing the entire CGCC music program, and directing the Adult and Youth Bell Choirs, the Adult Chancel Choir, and the Vocal Ensemble.  Additionally, he is the content manager of our church website, and is part of the media ministry team, working on our Facebook page, with church communications, and the print media ministry.

Ron received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music, and Master of Music and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University.  Before becoming a Floridian, Ron enjoyed a career at Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio, first as the director of choirs and chair of the music department,  and then as a guidance counselor.  He was also the Director of Music at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cleveland, Ohio.  He and his partner Steve live in Coconut Grove, where they enjoy their home, their friends, and their life with their dog Jake, and three cats, Rufus, Albert, and Sam.
