Dennis leads the financial and business operations of all the church’s diverse activities.  He plans and monitors the financial activities of the church, the Early Childhood Center, the Community Arts Program’s Conservatory of Music and Summer Concert Series, the Spiritual Formation Ministry, the Wedding and Holy Union Ministry, the Fair Trade Shop, Wellness Center, the on-going upkeep of our historic site, and all the other programs this dynamic church has or will dream of in the future.  Dennis serves as an ex-Officio member of our church’s Legacy Fund Committee and is a member of the UCC’s Florida Conference Endowment Fund.

Dennis joined the staff in 2010 after a 29-year career with global accounting, audit and consulting firm, KPMG LLP, while residing in Seattle, Miami, and his native Sao Paulo, Brazil.  At KPMG, Dennis specialized in financial and IT systems auditing and consulting, serving multi-national companies, banks, and not-for-profit organizations.  Dennis is a CPA, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in Seattle.  He speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English.  He is married to Esther, is the father of four adult children (Daniel, Thomas, Amaya and Jacqueline), and the very proud grandfather of Nathaniel and Gabriel.
