Christian Education Classes on Sundays
Youth, grades 6 through 12, are invited to attend classes in Christian formation using lessons from the Seasons of Spirit curriculum. During the worship service, at the time of passing of the peace, both the younger children and youth leave the sanctuary through the pulpit doors to attend age-specific classes.

Yoga during Sunday School – Grades 6 – 12 will have their own yoga class on the last Sunday of the month. YOGA for TEENS will integrate breath, movement, asana, and self awareness. The classes are designed to guide students to increase strength and flexibility, to have fun, and apply yoga skills to life.  Wear comfortable clothing for twisting and turning. Yoga mats will be supplied if you do not have your own.

Pizza and Movie Nights for Middle School
One Friday night of the month is designed for grades 6-8. Youth are welcome to arrive as early as 6:30 pm stay until 10:00 pm. Cost: $10 (includes pizza, snacks, and drinks). This year Pizza and Movie Nights occur:  January 6, February 3, April 13, and May 4.

Church Night-In (Wednesday:  Jan 11 – Mar 7, Mar 21- May 16)

Dinner Time. At 5:30 pm, join your friends for dinner in Fellowship Hall.

Cantate Choir. The Cantate Choir, for youth in grades 6-12, practices in Moye Chapel on Wednesday night from 6:15 pm until 6:55 pm. Performances during our worship service are planned throughout the year. For more information contact Ron at mail:ronm@ucc-cgcc.org.

High School Youth Group. High school students meet at Aunt Mollie’s Youth House on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm after Cantate Youth Choir practice.  Our weekly meetings will correspond with the dates of Church Night In dinners, and will finish at 8:00 pm.

Youth Bell Choir. Youth Bell Choir meets one Friday per month from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm.

Outreach Projects. A variety of outreach projects will be developed according to the interests of our youth. These will usually occur Saturday mornings or Sunday after church.

Regional Youth Events. Youth at CGCC will be participating in the following regional youth events. These events are designed for youth grade 6 through 12. Please mark your calendars in advance. Additional permission slips and medical forms will be required.   Peace River, March 2-4
