Adult Choirs

Our Adult Chancel Choir is made up of singers from a wide variety of career and musical backgrounds; we have a nucleus of paid soloists who support and lead each vocal section.  But the majority of our members are CGCC friends and members from other professional walks of life who simply enjoy singing, and understand the important role of music in worship.  The ability to read music is helpful, but not essential, and no audition is required for membership.  Those who choose to sing in our choirs will find a warm welcome and a joyous celebration of your presence and contributions among us.

Our Adult Handbell Choir is a spirited group of ringers who rehearse weekly to prepare for monthly worship participation and for special services.  Some music reading background, especially in rhythm reading, is helpful.  The Adult Handbell Choir is a perfect place for those who took piano or instrumental lessons as children, or who played or sang in their high school, college, or community musical ensembles.
