Coral Gables Congregational UCC has a long and steadfast history of mission and outreach to the Haitian people.  Past events have included a variety of fund-raising events, silent auctions, and an annual Yard Sale for Haiti.  Teams of CGGC people regularly travel to Haiti for volunteer and community service projects.  Watch the website for specific events as we continue our efforts to serve the people of Haiti in times of need.

Yard Sale for Haiti

For the past seven years, Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ has been doing mission in Haiti. During this time, we have donated over $130,000 to our partners in mission. We have taken nine trips, and a total of 17 people have gone to Haiti and experienced the hospitality and beauty of the Haitian people. We are a better church today because of our experiences in Haiti. This we owe to the many church and community members who have supported the mission with their monetary donations.  To continue our mission in Haiti, we need to raise more money. Alice Keller, and several other members, have organized a yard sale for this mission. The Haiti Mission Task Force will be accepting donations of good and worthy items as of Sunday, January 8.
