Young Adults Group

As young adults, our lives are ever changing.  However, the church is the one place we can always call home—the place that nurtures our spiritual needs, our community, and our family. Rather than allowing others to write our future for us, we believe it is up to us to make the future our own.  The teachings of Christ are inspiring us to take action, heal societal wounds, be socially conscious, and take a stand against injustice.  For us, as the Social Networking Generation, the UCC is a movement that is in tune with God’s still speaking voice. It is up to us to show all young people there is a place from which they can truly make a difference in their lives, their community, and their world.

If you are 18–35, and want to find a place for community and humanitarian work, while nurturing your spirit, then The Young Adults Group of CGCC-UCC is the place for you!   We meet each Sunday after service in Fellowship Hall.  For more information, contact Harold Marrero at haroldm@ucc-cgcc.org.
